Broadfield Community Primary School Nursery Admissions
Here is all of the information that you will need about our Nursery Admissions.
Come and meet the staff and children at our Nursery.
You will see the fun and exciting time the children have, and see how they learn. We will be happy to discuss the teaching and learning we offer both inside and outside, and show you our amazing new outdoor area.
Please contact our school office on 01706 647580 to arrange a visit.
We will make sure a member of the Nursery staff is available to show you around and discuss what we can offer both you and your child.
Applying for a Nursery place
Our admissions criteria:
There are 52 part time places in our Nursery, for children who are 3 by the end of August. Some of these places can be taken as 30 hour places by children whose parents are eligible for 30 hour funding.
Please click here for more information.
We also offer places to start in January, if your child is 3 by the end of December.
Please phone the office or call in to school to put your child’s name on our admission list and arrange a visit.
Receiving a Nursery Place
Mrs Wright (The Nursery Teacher and Foundation Stage Lead) will contact you to arrange a Home Visit.
We believe it is important that your child meets us in the security of their own home, as this is familiar to them. You also have the opportunity to meet staff members and discuss your child and any issues or concerns, in privacy.
In addition we offer opportunities for your child to come to Nursery for “stay and play” sessions with you, to meet the Nursery staff and become familiar with their new setting.

We look forward to meeting you soon
