On Tuesday 7th June, we will host our Jubilee Celebration at Broadfield! In preparation for this, the children will be making hats, flags and placemats the day before ready for our whole school Jubilee 'Afternoon Tea on Tuesday.

During our celebration, the children will enjoy the afternoon tea, take part in many traditional party games from throughout the years, enjoy music from across the decades and there may even be the opportunity to take photos with the crown and the Queen's dogs!

To top off the day, there may even be a special visitor to school to celebrate with the children.

On Tuesday 7th June, the children will need to come to school dressed in red, white and blue as part of the celebration!

It's going to be a fantastic day of celebrations!

On Thursday 12th May 2022, Broadfield is hosting a Spring in Your Toes Disco for all of the children.
The children have missed out on the Snowball due to the Covid-19 restrictions in place over the last few years and many of them have asked for a disco, so now seems like a better time.
We have chosen the 12th May because it's also the last day of KS2 SATs, so it will be an opportunity for our Y6 children to celebrate the end of their tests together.
We also thought it would be a lovely opportunity for our children to wear their new Eid clothes and celebrate together.

Early Years children will have their disco during the school day at 2:00pm - 2:45pm and can come to school in their party clothes on that day. There is no charge for the EY disco.

Middle Years children (Y1, Y2 & Y3) will have their disco straight after school until 4:30pm and they can bring their party clothes in a bag and get changed at the end of the day. Staff will be available to help them.

Upper Years children (Y4, Y5 & Y6) will have their disco at 5:00pm - 6:30pm, hopefully giving them enough time to go home and get changed before coming back to school.
Please can I request that children are collected from the disco and do not walk home on their own.

If you would like your child to come to the disco, the cost is £1 per child and is payable via PAY360. Only children in Y1, Y2, Y3, Y4, Y5 and Y6 need to make a payment.
This charge is to cover the cost of the DJ.
