Art
In Art and Design, all children will produce creative work, exploring their ideas and recording their experiences. Children's skills and knowledge will grow as children progress through the school. Within each unit of work, children will follow the structure 'Notice, Wonder and Create'. This will ensure children are fully exploring and understanding the skill and/or knowledge they are learning.
They will become proficient in drawing, painting, sculpture and other art, craft and design techniques. Children will learn to evaluate and analyse creative works using the language of art, craft and design and they will know about great artists, craft makers and designers, and understand the historical and cultural development of their art forms.
